If you are looking for a platform for sharing trade, investment and market information and opportunities in the rest of Africa then the inaugural Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2018), which will take place at the Egypt International Exhibition Center hosted by the Government of Egypt in Cairo from 11 to 17 December 2018 is the place to showcase your brand.

The recent successful launch of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) has brought into focus the great potential for trade and economic development across Africa.

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), in collaboration with the African Union (AU), is organizing the first-ever Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) to enable buyers and sellers, investors and countries to conclude business deals.

IATF2018 is expected, over the seven days, to bring together more than 1,000 exhibitors from across Africa and beyond and to attract more than 70,000 visitors, buyers and sellers, generating in excess of $25 billion in trade deals.

His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria, is Chairman of the IATF2018 Advisory Council, which also includes Mr. Jean-Louis Ekra, former President of Afreximbank, and Amb. Albert Muchanga, the African Union Commissioner for Trade. Also represented on the Council are the Pan-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the African Trade Policy Centre/UNECA; the World Trade Centre Miami; the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC); the International Trade Centre; Egypt as the host country; the AfroChampions Initiative; and Pixykorner, the professional trade fair organiser retained for the event in cooperation with the Egyptian Exporters Association – Expolink.

With the above in mind, Afreximbank is pleased to invite you to attend and participate in IATF2018 in Cairo in December.
