This was how Naas Du Preez, outgoing Chairman of FASA for 2016 described the business environment when he handed over the Chairmanship baton of the Franchise Association of South Africa to Tony Da Fonseca, MD of the OBC Group at the association’s Annual General Meeting.

COOKIE WORKS IS A WINNER IN THE NEXTGEN IN FRANCHISING

The Franchise Association of South Africa (FASA) took part in a global initiative spearheaded by the American International Franchise Association (IFA) to find young entrepreneurs with great concepts from around the world. Winners received a trip to the IFA’s Annual Convention in Las Vegas from 28 January to 1st February 2017 as well as educational and accelerator programs with industry leaders and other prizes. FASA promoted the competition through its newsletter, website and social media and one entrepreneur took up the challenge, entered and won!
