We provide primary school-focused outside-of-school hours care services. This includes aftercare, holiday care, and before-school care. Club Engage offers an internationally benchmarked curriculum-aligned programme that is structured and has daily activities and themes. This is not simply child minding/babysitting, or extra lessons or simple standalone fun activities. The Club Engage programme is structured, fun and engaging.
With our extensive experience as South Africa’s largest provider of out-of-school hours care solutions and our membership in international play-based associations, we bring a wealth of collective knowledge to the table.
As a franchisee, you will have the opportunity to focus on a target market within a localised territory encompassing approximately 3500 enrolled pupils, which translates to around 8-10 schools or venues.

Genevieve Allen is an entrepreneur who founded Club Engage, the largest aftercare and holiday care provider in South Africa. She comes from an entrepreneurial family and has always been passionate about starting her own business. Genevieve holds a Master’s degree in Innovation, which led her to research innovative ideas in education for South Africa.
There are new opportunities (urban and peri-urban) in South Africa across all its provinces, as well as in neighbouring countries Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, and Swaziland.

Training
The first two weeks will cover core principles of childcare management, business administration, business development, and operations. Training includes one week on-site with built-in coaching and quality assurance. Club Engage provides franchise administration support (policies, processes, and templates) housed on Zoho WorkDrive which allows for real-time enabled document management allowing for multi-site operations. Zoho is a leading international cloud software system available in South Africa to Club Engage franchisees. System training and navigation are also provided on the Zoho WorkDrive. Training on our online booking system Aimy Plus is provided. Aimy Plus takes the logistics, bookkeeping, and financial tracking of after-school care and puts it all in one convenient, simple-to-use software package. Aimy Plus integrates seamlessly with Xero a cloud-based accounting system that in turn integrates with most South African banks allowing for simple accounting administration. The Club Engage head office team oversees the relationships between these software partners to ensure that our franchisees can focus on growing their businesses.
Business mentoring is provided from the head office when and where it’s needed. We will assist you with your business planning and have a suite of operations manuals available online 24/7 including HR, Marketing, Administration, Business Operations, Finance, and onsite Policies and Procedures. We partner with LabourNet to ensure complete compliance and peace of mind with all staffing-related matters.
Financial
The franchise fee is R150,000 incl. VAT, covering a franchise term of 5 years (with two further renewable terms of 5 years each) It is payable to Club Engage upon the signing of the franchise agreement.
This fee is for a single territory – made up of 6-10 schools. Additional territories may be acquired.
For your initial investment in buying a Club Engage franchise, you will receive:

-Designed content, and all the operations and childcare management training you will need.
