TSE BIG MAX / Big Max Express provides an extensive range of heavy duty truck and trailer components, spare parts and equipment to its retail and wholesale customer base from its premises in Denver, Johannesburg, as well as through a national grid of distributors and existing franchises
Omar Essop (Chief Executive Officer)
Born and bred in Denver, Johannesburg Omar completed his schooling at Nirvana High School in Lenasia and entered into his first job with Lammys Spares Center in Newtown, Johannesburg. This was an excellent starting point in the transport industry for him as this was his first step towards understanding customer service. Here he developed and honed his selling skills, and his interaction with customers, to perfection. He then joined Curries Truck in Elandsfontein in the position of Spares Manager for 2 years in the early eighties, before finally deciding on a career in the field of truck and trailer spares, a space in which he has run his business for the ensuing 36 years.
His qualifications include Journalism, Air Brake Systems, and Axle and Suspension Concepts.
In March 1985, he established TSE BIG MAX, a proudly South African close corporation which manufactures and distributes high quality, SABS-approved axles, suspensions and general trailer components.
Omar Essop is a very well-known and prominent figure in the transport industry, and a dynamic entrepreneur and seasoned businessman who will play an important role in the establishment and ongoing operation of the BIG MAX franchise network

Our franchisees must be good at networking and passionate about solving customer problems, be able to adapt and improvise in a sometimes demanding but rewarding industry. Have the capability and desire to learn and improve continuously. Must be able to identify problems areas. Previous experience in the industry is not essential, but is definitely beneficial.
We will provide one week physical training at our HQ in Johannesburg which covers product range basics, as well as how to use software and follow processes.
Thereafter we will be in constant contact and will walk the journey with you to ensure you get your operations running smoothly and profitably
