Jeremy Norsworthy was introduced to retail and restaurants by his father Brian Norsworthy who was part of the team that headed PnP Franchise and then opened his own franchise. Naturally what this meant is that as a family we have had extensive training on methodologies and processes which are needed to run a franchise successively. The running of a PnP franchise allowed me to cut me teeth on all the departments like the butchery, fruit and veg and the bakery, all of which are very important in running and understanding a Wayback.
Along with understanding retail Jeremy also studied at Wits University and achieved the following degrees:
Bsc. Town and Regional Planning
Bsc. (Hon) Urban Regional Planning
Msc. Property Development and Management
With over a decade of experience in the built environment and work done in both spatial analysis and property management the groundwork for understanding where to place locations for Wayback Burgers had been strongly laid.
In 2017 we decided to enter into the niche market of burgers, and Jeremy went to train at Wayback University to get the master franchise for South Africa. In his time there he worked in a restaurant and understood all of the components and operations of a Wayback. All of these systems referred to as the “Way” will be passed on the potential franchisees.
